Jessica Roberts is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and a pre-k counts teacher for the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, assigned to the Warrior Run School District in Watsontown, Pennsylvania. She is a co-founder of the Warrior Run Parent Support Group, designed to support and educate families of children learning with IEPs and 504 Plans. Before transitioning into teaching pre-k, Jessica taught court committed female offenders for the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit at the Ashler Manor Alternative Education Program, the Danville Center for Adolescent Females, and the Berwick Alternative Education Program. Jessica received the 2018 Robert G. Witten Passion for Excellence award and the 1999 Danville Center for Adolescent Females’ Employee of the Year award. She graduated from Bloomsburg University with a BS in Education and a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction.
