Jianan is a Teach Plus Greater Boston Teaching Policy Fellow. He is a 9th grade inclusion biology teacher at Codman Academy Charter Public School in Dorchester, MA, where he served as the 9th grade team lead and helps build effective professional development and student interventions. Jianan became interested in teaching after completing a year-long internship at Bridge Over Troubled Waters, a youth empowerment center in downtown Boston. Jianan earned a BS in Biology and Psychology and an MEd in Secondary Science with the Donovan Urban Scholars Program and Science for Urban Education (SEUS) Program from Boston College.
