Jillian Onqué teaches 7th and 8th grade math at Robert L. Grimes Elementary School, where she is also on the instructional leadership team, is math lead teacher, and serves as Grimes’ Varsity girls volleyball coach. In 2015, Jillian was selected as a consulting teacher with CPS mentoring beginning and/or developing teachers through the remediation process of their evaluations. Jillian began her teaching career in 2003 in Memphis City Schools as a middle school science/physical science teacher. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a BS in Elementary Education and earned an MS in Middle School Mathematics Education from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
