Jing Ren is a 2021 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent who teaches 2nd grade Mandarin Dual Immersion Program at William Land Elementary School in Sacramento. Jing is a member of the advisory committee that is updating California World Language Standards and Framework at the California Department of Education. She serves on the board of the California Chinese Language Teacher Association. A second-generation educator, Jing has taught in K-12 schools in Thailand, China, and the U.S. for more than ten years and she holds the multiple, single, and administrative credentials from California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She graduated from California State University, Humboldt with a MA in Education.
