John Hesser is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Indiana Teaching Policy Fellow. John teaches 7th grade science at H.L. Harshman Middle School in Indianapolis, where he coaches Science Olympiad and tennis. John previously was a L.E.E. fellow with the Indiana Department of Education and currently serves as a building representative with the Indiana State Teachers Association. He received his BS in Biology from Ball State University and his MAT in Secondary Education from Marian University.
