Jessica Johnson is a 2024-2025 Harmony School Leader Advisory Cabinet Member. She is entering her fourth year as a Dean of Academics at Harmony School of Excellence in north Houston. Dr. Johnson serves as an instructional leader for kindergarten through 3rd grade, while supporting teachers in providing rigorous and equitable learning opportunities for scholars. She is inspired by the quote, “The adventure of life is to learn” by William Arthur Ward. Before transitioning to administration, she taught for 15 years in a variety of roles including special education teacher, elementary generalist, high school English language arts instructor, and dual enrollment coordinator. Dr. Johnson received both her BA in special education and elementary education and her MA in educational leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University. She also holds an EdD in educational leadership from Aspen University.
