Regina Johnson is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and Professional Learning Specialist for the ROE 33 & 26 Professional Development Consortium in Galesburg, Illinois. She creates psychologically safe spaces and teams, in an effort to foster community growth. Regina began her teaching career at Galesburg High School teaching history before spending a decade in pharmaceutical sales, providing multicultural education through community programming. She then returned to education as the Director of Student Equity at the college level. Regina is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory, which is an assessment that measures capacity to work across differences. In addition, she is a Crucial Conversations Mastering Dialogue Trainer. Regina holds a BA in history and political science, with Secondary Education and Middle School certifications from Monmouth College. She is completing her certification in Human Growth Leadership through the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
