Jaimee Jones is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and a 3rd grade ELA teacher at Annette Officer Elementary School in East St. Louis, Illinois. She is also a member of the ELA curriculum writing team for District 189. She is a product of the community she serves, and this is her “why” for teaching. Her main priority is to pour into her students the same as her teachers poured into her. She earned a double BA in English and Spanish from Tennessee State University, and an MA in education from National Louis University.
