Treasure Jones is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow and Lead Teacher for kindergarten and 1st grade at Sankofa School of Success in Indianapolis. She has taught 1st, 3rd, and 6th grades, and is a former English language arts instructional coach for grades 2-6. Treasure was named Sankofa School of Success Teacher of the Year (2025-2026). She began her career in education as a 2015 AmeriCorps member, serving with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis during her junior year at the University of Indianapolis. Following a brief hiatus, she resumed her work in education through the Indianapolis Teaching Fellows program, where she deepened her commitment to educational equity and excellence. Treasure earned a BA in political science and a minor in Spanish from the University of Indianapolis, and MAT at Marian University.
