Victoria Jones is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Chicago Change Agent. She teaches 11th grade English at CICS Longwood HS, where she is also the sponsor of a new student organization, Panthers for Peace. She has recently transitioned from being a 9th-12th English diverse learner teacher where she led professional development on whole child framework and social emotional learning. In her former role as multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) lead, she monitored student data and provided instructional coaching to interventionists leading English and math. Victoria previously taught Spanish I, served as the 11th grade level lead, and head cheerleading coach at North Lawndale College Prep High School. She earned her BA in Special Education and Elementary Education from Western Governors University.
