Sierra Joseph is a 2025-2026 Houston Policy Fellow, and 6th and 8th grade Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) teacher at Ronald Thornton Middle School in Missouri City, Texas. She also serves as the Elective Department Head and AVID Campus Coordinator. Sierra was named Fort Bend Independent School District Teacher of the Year (2024), received the Campus Professionalism Award, and was designated the Whataburger What-A-Teacher winner (2024). She has a BA from Lamar University.
