Joshua Brown is a Teach Plus California and a Teach Plus Los Angeles Teaching Policy Fellow. Joshua teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade special education at Holmes Middle School in Northridge, where he also serves as the department chair and advisor to student teachers in local credentialing programs. Joshua is a 3rd generation LAUSD graduate and 2nd generation LAUSD teacher, proudly teaching in the community from which he came. Joshua has also served as a Fulbright Fellow to South Korea through the U.S. Department of State, and an Earthwatch Fellow to Ecuador. Joshua holds a BA in History and Spanish from Pitzer College, and an MA in Special Education from California State University, Northridge.
