Joshua Salas is a 2021-22 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow who teaches 10th grade Special Education at Alliance Renee & Meyer Luskin Academy High School in Los Angeles. Joshua also serves as the Department Lead and an adviser for Black Student Union on his campus. Josh has previously served as a 2021 Summer Policy Fellow at the Golden Apple Foundation and was a 2019 Teach for America Los Angeles alumnus. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Sociology and Global Studies, San Diego State University with a MA in Sociology, and received a MA in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University.
