Rhyannon Jovan is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Nevada Policy Fellow and is the Network Lead English teacher serving all high school grade levels as an educator and content coach at Acceleration Academy in Las Vegas,. She empowers students to become astute thinkers, compelling writers, and confident learners while making relevant life connections through literary analysis and discourse. She taught various grades for 10 years throughout the Las Vegas Valley, serving as a lead middle school ELA teacher for four years. Rhyannon is a NCTE Emerging Leaders Fellow. She has a BA in Educational Studies and recently earned her MEd in English Language Acquisition and Development from University of Nevada, Reno.
