Misty Kacal is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Texas Harmony Teacher Advisory Cabinet Member and is a 1st grade teacher at Harmony Science Academy in Sugar Land. She offers guided support to other educators as a Micro-Credential Ambassador to support strengths and growth opportunities in the classroom. She has earned 14 micro-credentials that range from supporting digital learners, English-language learners, and students in the core classroom. Misty is in her fifth year of teaching and has been designated an Exemplary Teacher by the Texas Education Agency. She earned her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in psychology from University of Houston-Downtown.
