Katie Curtin founded the four-year journalism program at Pritzker College Prep, where she currently teaches journalism and also serves as the electives department lead and yearbook advisor. Katie previously taught 10th grade English at Olney Charter High School, an ASPIRA school, in Philadelphia, serving as the grade-level English curriculum designer. She began her teaching career at Olney through Teach For America after coordinating a volunteer tutor program serving thirteen Boston Public Schools while she was in college. Katie graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a BA in International Relations and completed her MS Ed in Secondary English at the University of Pennsylvania.
