Katya Beckett is a Teach Plus Maryland Teaching Policy Fellow who teaches kindergarten at Glenallan Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland. Katya previously taught kindergarten 6th grade in California, serving special education students in grades K-6 as a Resource Specialist and a member of the student intervention team. She graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a dual BA in Psychology and Literature, and received her MEd in Elementary Education from Claremont Graduate University. Katya holds a Special Education Credential and an Educational Therapy Certificate from the University of California, Northridge.
