Kayla Scholl is a 2020-2021 Teach Plus Commonwealth Senior Policy Fellow. Kayla has taught 5th grade English as a Second Language at the Whittier School in Everett, Massachusetts for the past two years. She previously taught 5th grade English Language Arts at KIPP Academy Lynn, where she served as the family engagement coordinator, reading interventionist, and grade level chair. Kayla is a panelist for the CURATE 3-5 ELA curriculum fellowship. She was a 2015 Teach for America Corps Member. She holds a BS in Psychology and Elementary Education with a biology minor from Northeastern University and a MEd in Special Education from Boston University. She is currently pursuing an administrative license and CAGS in Administration, Policy, & Planning from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
