Shanea Kelley is a 2022-2023 Indianapolis Equity Change Agent and 1st grade teacher leader at Westlake Elementary School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a member of Westlake’s School Improvement Plan and the first grade team leader. Shanea has served as a first and second year teacher mentor, student teacher supervising teacher, and equity team leader. She was named an Indiana Teacher of the Year Top 25 Finalist (2021-22); Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township Elementary Teacher of the Year (2021-22); and Westlake Elementary School Teacher of the Year (2021-22). Shanea earned her BS in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Concentration from Ball State University and an MA in Teaching from Marian University.
