Kathleen Kelly is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Chicago Change Agent. She teaches preschool at Daniel C. Beard Elementary School, where she works as a teacher, mentor, and collaborates on the instructional leadership and preschool committees. Kathleen contributes to Goodwin College of Education Teacher Preparation Advisory Board that partners with stakeholders to prepare the next generation of teachers with Northeastern Illinois University. Kathleen completed a BA in elementary education and early childhood education from Northeastern Illinois University and a reading specialist certificate at National-Louis University. She holds an MA in Language Arts from Northeastern Illinois University.
