Kelly King is a Teach Plus Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow. Kelly is an instructional technology specialist in Riverside School District 96 who works with K-8 students and teachers across the district to help provide meaningful implementation of technology in the classroom. Prior to this role, she was a 4th and 5th grade classroom teacher and a K-6 reading specialist. Kelly is a Google Certified Educator, an Amazon Teacher Innovator and a member of the Illinois State Board of Education’s Teacher Leader Cadre. Kelly graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in Elementary Education and from the University of St. Francis with an MS in Educational Leadership.
