Kelsey McCaffrey is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus New Mexico Policy Fellow. Kelsey is an elementary intervention teacher, instructional coach and a teacher liaison NMTLM at Albuquerque Collegiate Charter School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She focuses on teaching in the areas of phonics and literacy programs supporting both English language learners and an array of students to boost confidence and success in the foundational steps of reading. Kelsey was a Teach For America corp member (2019-21) and is a current TFANM Alumni board member (2021). She earned her BA in International Relations from California State University, Chico, and her TESOL teaching certification from Santa Fe Community College.
