Kwalee Kemp is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Chicago Change Agent and a OneGoal (College/Career) and Freshman Academy teacher at ACE Amandla Charter School in Chicago. Kwalee is a member of the Illinois Network of Charter School’s Teacher Leadership Cohort and sits on the National Advisory Board for OneGoal. Kwalee was named ACE Amandla’s Teacher of the Month in May 2021 and received the Saundra D. Jones Outstanding Educator of the Year Award from the Lambda Tau Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She earned a BS in Workforce Education and Development with a concentration in Family and Consumer Sciences from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and is working on her MA in Secondary English Education from Concordia University Chicago.
