Natoria Kennell-Foster is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow. She teaches 7th-grade English language arts at Oxford Middle School in Oxford, Mississippi. She is a PLC leader for her grade level team and a teacher mentor to new teachers. Natoria has taught grades 6-12, including AP Literature, is a former English and history instructional coach, and has served as English department chair. Natoria is currently pursuing National Board Certification. She received both her BA in English and MA in Southern studies from the University of Mississippi, and she is completing an EdS in curriculum and instruction.
