Kristen Kent is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and a STEM coach at the Early Learning Center in Chelsea, MA. She focuses on teaching children to understand problems and ask questions, come up with solutions, learn from failure, and celebrate their achievements. Kristen has worked at the Early Learning Center since beginning her career in education, and she has worked as a paraprofessional, pre-k teacher, kindergarten teacher, literacy coach, curriculum coach, and recently took on the role of STEM coach. She earned her BA in Early Childhood and a MEd in Reading from Salem State University, and a MEd in Early Childhood from Lesley University, and a CAGS in Education Leadership from Salem State.
