Kenton Shimozaki is a 2021–2022 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. He teaches 8th-grade math at STRIVE Prep – Federal in Denver, where he also oversees family engagement strategy and serves as the staff operations coordinator. Previously, Kenton taught secondary social studies and supported the development of project-based learning curriculum for U.S. history with inquirED. Kenton graduated from Harvard College with an AB in Social Studies and received his EdM and teacher licensure through the Harvard Teacher Fellows program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
