Kristi Kerrill is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow and a kindergarten and 1st grade special education teacher at Walker Elementary School in Evanston. She teaches diverse learners with various cultural, linguistic, and racial differences. She is the early childhood transition specialist supporting students transitioning from Prek-Kindergarten on her campus and has been the special education team leader. Kristi is a National Board Certified Teacher and co-creator of the Walker School Photography club on her campus. She earned a BA in Psychology from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and an MA in Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University-Chicago.
