Kevin Cormier is a 2020-2021 Teach Plus Commonwealth Senior Policy Fellow in his fourth year with Teach Plus. Currently in his 15th year teaching math at Nissitissit MIddle School in Pepperell, Massachusetts, Kevin is a Lead Teacher for grades 7 and 8, as well as a co-District Data Coordinator, Professional Development lead, and co-chair of the Equity Advisory Board. As a Teach Plus Policy Fellow, Kevin has participated in multiple research projects, including co-authoring a national study on teacher prep programs. He recently completed a doctoral program at UMass Lowell in Math and Science Education, with a focus on formative assessment.
