Kim McLachlan is an instructional coach and coordinator of the MYP program at The International School at Thornton Middle. As a coach, Kim plans and delivers professional learning opportunities that include coaching teachers, and facilitating learning labs and the new teacher group. Kim has 15 years of experience teaching Language Arts in grades six through eight. She is on the Executive Board of the Colorado Association of Middle Level Educators and coordinates a yearly conference for educators in the state as part of the Schools To Watch program. Kim earned a BA in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University and an MA in Reading Instruction K-12 from the University of Colorado Boulder.
