Kimberly D. Lawrence is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Change Agent Teacher Leader. Kimberly teaches 9th grade English language arts at Gage Park High School, where she is also chair of the English Department. Kimberly is a member of the Freshman On-Track Team, Instructional Leadership Team, Continuous Work Improvement Plan committee, and Local School Council. She was awarded the 2019 Most Valuable Employee at Gage Park High School. She has taught English classes at various levels for the past 17 years at several schools in the district. She graduated from Chicago State University with a degree in Secondary Education and earned her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University.
