Christa Kirk is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Literacy Forward Network – PA Teacher Leader and 2nd grade teacher at Edgewood Elementary STEAM Academy in Edgewood, Pennsylvania. As part of her work on her school’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team, she attended a two-day Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) training. Christa previously taught kindergarten at Fairless Elementary School in the Woodland Hills School District, as well as preschool for more than two years in Penn Hills. She has a BA in elementary education K-6 from Saint Vincent College.
