Kirsten Farrell is a 2021-22 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow who teaches the CTE Sports Medicine Pathway at Venice High School in Los Angeles. Kristen leads the Sports Medicine Team, is a BOC Athletic Trainer, is the lead teacher for the Sports Medicine Academy, and is a member of the Instructional Leadership Team. In 2018, Kirsten was named a California Teacher of the Year and in 2021, she was named a Carlston Family Foundation Outstanding Teacher of America. Kristen previously taught in Japan and Switzerland. She graduated from Plymouth State University with a BS in Elementary Education and University of Vermont with a MS in School Counseling.
