Kisaundra Harris is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas Senior Fellow. She teaches 11th and 12th grade anatomy and physiology at Tascosa High School, where she is the chairperson of the Tascosa No Excuses University Committee and a co-sponsor of the Snack Pak 4 Kids/Tascosa FISH (Friend in Service for Hunger) and Tascosa Pride clubs. She is a member of the 2019 Centers for Disease Control Science Ambassador Fellowship and has been named district finalist for Amarillo ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year as well as received the Science Teachers Association of Texas’ Outstanding High School Science Teacher of the Year. She received an AA in Science from Frank Phillips College, a BS in Nursing from The University of Central Oklahoma, and an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from West Texas A&M University.
