Michael Kosor is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member and a K-6 mathematics instructional coach and school assessment coordinator at Turner Intermediate School in Wilkinsburg. Mike began his teaching career as a 7-12 math teacher and has taught various subjects from counting to College-Level Statistics. Michael has served the District of Wilkinsburg by working on the Evaluation Committee, K-12 Curriculum Developer, and ILT lead. Mike is the Treasurer, Membership Chair and PACE coordinator for WEA and is the PSEA Western Professional Rights & Responsibilities Rep. He earned his BS in Secondary Mathematics Education and his MS in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is completing his administrative credentials through Point Park University.
