Erin Kraker is a 2025-2025 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and 9th-grade English teacher at Rockford High School’s Freshman Center in Rockford, Michigan. She serves on a Response to Intervention Task Force at the secondary level and is a collaborator in her English department’s Professional Learning Community, creating a guaranteed and viable curriculum for all students. In previous districts, Erin taught 9th and 11th-grade English and participated on two Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports teams. She has also served as a Student Council leader, Tier 2 interventionist teacher, and advisor for a student-led Dungeons & Dragons club. Erin is a building representative for the Rockford Education Association. She earned a BA in secondary education for English and history and an MEd in instruction and curriculum design for secondary education, both from Grand Valley State University.
