Kristen Leathers is a Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. Kristen is a 9th-12th grade ESL teacher at Brighton High, where she also serves as the structured English immersion director responsible for creating and developing professional development for the department. She is a National Board Certified teacher in English as a New Language. Kristen wrote a model curriculum unit for the Next Generation ESL Resource Project. She earned a BA in English and Mass Communications from Iona College and an MAT from Northeastern University.
