Traci Krueger is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Policy Fellow and special education teacher at John Mills School in Elmwood Park, Illinois. She serves on her school’s literacy committee and as a schoolwide new teacher mentor. In 2013, she completed an internship with the National Education Association. Traci was named Illinois State Board of Education Cook County Regional Teacher of the Year (2021). She serves on her school’s executive board and on the Illinois Education Association Early Career committee. Traci earned a BA in early childhood and elementary education from Winona State University, MA in special education and a dual endorsement in English as a Second Language from Winona State University, and MA in literacy from Judson University.
