Daphne Michelle Kyles-Robinson is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow and special education teacher at Peeples Middle School in Jackson, Mississippi. She is the liaison for the Special Olympics of Jackson, promoting acceptance, inclusion, and well‐being for people with intellectual disabilities through sports. Previously, Daphne was Cheer Coach for Whitten Middle School, which later merged with Peeples Middle School, and received the National Educators Association Disability Awareness $2,500 Mini Grant to incorporate books with positive disability representation into her school library. She is an active member of the Mississippi Association of Educators and has served as an Early Leadership Institute Fellow Local Delegate (2024-2025) and State Delegate (2025-2026), as well as her school’s Intake Representative (2025-2026). Daphne earned her BS in psychology from Jackson State University, a teaching certification from William Carey University, and is pursuing a master’s in special education from Jackson State University.
