Jeane Lakin is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Jeane is a 3rd grade teacher in Carbondale, Colorado at Crystal River Elementary. She serves on the district elementary science team and supports teachers in their use of technology in the classroom, ranging from bite-size problem solving to leading edTech sessions. In addition to teaching at her district’s choice-based online school during the 2020-2021 school year, Jeane has also taught 2nd and 4th grades at her previous school in Dubai, UAE. She held similar leadership roles in science and technology. She earned her BA in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound and an MEd in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey.
