Erin Larson is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and 3rd-grade teacher at DeWitt Public Schools in DeWitt, Michigan. She creates safe, empathetic classrooms so that students with diverse needs thrive and reach their full potential. Erin serves on her district’s Curriculum and Instruction Committee, as well as the Clinton County Literacy Leaders Network, to help ensure evidence-based literacy practices guide instruction. She serves on the DeWitt Education Association (DEA) union board as the New Member Representative, fostering relationships, providing support, and improving retention for teachers, and also represents educators on the DEA Contract Negotiations Committee. Erin earned her BA in public relations from the University of Northern Iowa. After spending a few years in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, she earned her MAT from National Louis University.
