Lauren Stuart is a Teach Plus California Teaching Policy Fellow and is a National Board Certified English Language Arts teacher at El Rodeo School in the Beverly Hills Unified School District. Lauren is a Hope Street Group National Teacher Fellow and a Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellow, and has participated in peer research on teacher preparation and has studied global education strategies. Lauren began teaching in 2007 with the Los Angeles Unified School District, and taught at Sutter Middle School until 2010. She serves on the instructional leadership team and the district GATE committee, and is the top performing 8th grade ELA teacher in Los Angeles County. Lauren holds a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Michigan and a MA in Education from Pepperdine University.
