Elvira Ledezma is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent who teaches English Language Development to Newcomers at Sanger High School in California. She is a passionate EL advocate with eight years of teaching experience. Elvira is part of the Newcomer Task Force team in the district and the California Newcomer Network Advisory Committee. She received her BA in English with an emphasis in English as a Second Language from Fresno State, and her MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Irvine.
