Lesley Bozman is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow who teaches 8th grade U.S. History at Forest Park Magnet School and serves as the lead teacher for the Social Studies Department in Longview, Texas. Lesley also helps develop history content and lessons for a charter system within her district. She has extensively worked with and has been trained by the International Baccalaureate program to help students look at the world through intercultural understanding and respect, alongside an expectation for learning and excellence. She has been awarded an Exemplary distinction on her professional certificate for the Teacher Incentive Allotment. Lesley graduated from University of North Texas with a BA in Sociology and received her MEd in Educational Administration from Lamar University.
