Kara Leslie, EdD, is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and 7th grade English language arts (ELA) teacher at Punxsutawney Area High School in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. She serves as a Professional Learning Community leader and junior student council adviser. Kara previously taught 8th grade ELA and mentored student teachers. She serves as head girls golf coach. Kara earned a BSEd from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, MSEd in classroom technology from Walden University, and EdD in leadership and administration from Point Park University.
