Heather Leverett is a returning 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Heather teaches 2nd grade at Reeves-Hinger Elementary School in Canyon. She is in her 13th year in education and has previously taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first grade. Heather is from a family of educators. She has worked with the Texas Resource Review and mentored four clinical teachers. Heather graduated from West Texas A&M University with a BS in political science and her MA in teaching.
