Linda Tolman is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow and is a 9th grade Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) teacher at Simon Rivera Early College High School in Brownsville. Linda serves as club sponsor for the Interact and Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy, is a Google Certified Educator, 2020-2021 Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Nearpod Certified Educator, and has completed other technology certifications as well. She has a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Brownsville and a MSED in Curriculum and Instruction from Walden University. She is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Educational Technology from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
