Lindsay Hawkins is a kindergarten through 5th grade ELL teacher at Gypsum Elementary School, where she also serves as a mentor teacher. She previously taught kindergarten and 1st grade at the school. Lindsay received an Outstanding Educator Award from Gypsum Elementary and an Excellence in Teaching Award from the Eagle County School District, and was a finalist for the Fishman Prize for Superlative Classroom Practice from The New Teacher Project. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from Colorado College and earned an MA in Linguistically and Culturally Diverse Education and Special Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
