Lindsey Horowitz is a Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow and a 7th grade English Language Arts teacher at the Eugene Wright Science and Technology Academy in Chelsea, MA. Lindsey co-leads IDEAS in Medicine, an after-school program that connects her students with representatives from the Tufts University School of Medicine. She first became interested in teaching while leading a mentoring program at a rural school in Maine, and developed her passion for education as a lecturer at a university in Clermont-Ferrand, France. She is certified to teach English 5-8 and 8-12, and Moderate Disabilities 5-12. Lindsey earned a BA from Bowdoin College, and an MEd from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
