Michelle Lo is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow and high school mathematics teacher at Skyline High School in Oakland, California. She currently teaches Algebra 1 and geometry, while developing students’ mathematical confidence through problem-based learning and math modeling. Michelle previously taught in San Jose and Los Angeles, and served as a Teacher on Special Assignment. She was a Knowles Teaching Fellow (2020-2025) and National Education Association Foundation Global Learning Fellow (2024-2025). Michelle serves as Member Services Chair of TODOS: Mathematics for All and is a Teacher-Powered Ambassador for Teacher-Powered Schools. She earned a BS in mathematics from the University of Oregon and MA in education from Stanford University.
