Jeannie Logan is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and is the Instructional Supervisor for Social Studies at Glenbrook South High School in Glenview. In addition to leading the Social Studies Department in curriculum and instruction, she also co-facilitates the school’s equity training for staff. Prior to her current position, she taught high school Social Studies for 17 years, and held a variety of teacher leader roles in the areas of curriculum and instruction, professional development, and diversity and equity training. Jeannie has served on the board of the Illinois Council for History Education and has presented at national conferences for the National Council of Social Studies and the National Council for History Education. She earned a BA in History and Political Science from Northwestern University, an MEd in Instructional Leadership with teaching credential from the University of Illinois in Chicago, and an MA in School Leadership with administrative credential from Northeastern Illinois University.
